I put off reading this book for a long time. I loved Keeping Promise Rock so much and was afraid that a sequel just wouldn't hold up. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. I even think I love this book more. While the whole cast from the previous book is back, this is Shane and Mikhail's story. Mikhail was such a great character...seemingly perfect on the outside but so very damaged on the inside. It took Shane's persistance and steadfastness to make Mikhail believe he could make promises and live up to them.
Now I'm looking forward to delving into Book #3 - Living Promises!
